Everyone is familiar with the old 64K of memory estimate he made way back when. Well, he’s also on the record as having predicted we’d all be using tablet PCs by now. So it’s got to be disappointing news to him that more people are using Macs than convertible laptops or slates.

The concept of the tablet PC is very interesting, and reports from users of the devices are almost unconditionally positive. So I was interested to read an article in TechWorld that analyzes the lag in general uptake of tablet PCs. Their initial verdict includes price and the lack of mainstream support for “touch” technologies, and they have six more reasons to come tomorrow.
